This program provides department members with structured, functional
fitness training specifically designed for the physical demands of
firefighting and emergency response. Sessions focus on strength,
endurance, mobility, and injury prevention to ensure members can perform
their duties safely and effectively.
Frequency: 1 day per week
Participants: Up to 15 members (maximum)
Duration: 47 weeks (no training between Thanksgiving and New Year)
These guided sessions combine breathwork, grounding techniques, and
open discussion around personal wins and challenges. They are led in a safe,
non-judgmental space to help members decompress and reconnect with
themselves and their peers.
